Dr. Scher is available for presentations at both local and national locations. She is a lively and knowledgeable presenter to both professional and lay audiences. Topics of interest include eating disorders, group therapy and women’s issues in therapy. Most recently, Dr. Scher designed and taught a semester long course entitled Eating and Weight Disorders to the doctoral psychology students in the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University. With the advent of the 2013 release of the DSM V, Dr. Scher will present on the inclusion of Binge Eating Disorder to the manual, as well as other modifications to the diagnostic criteria for the other Eating Disorders.
